Influence Map Scoring Table: Corporations and Influencers

Resource / Influence Map Scoring Table: Corporations and Influencers

By Toby Strudwick / 02 Aug 2016

Influence Map are an independent UK non-profit dedicated to accurately assessing the influence of corporations over key areas of civil society policy. This is a link to their 'Scoring table' that ranks large corporations in order of their influuence on climate change policy. Those at the top of the table have a positive influence. Those at the bottom have a negative, or obstructive influence.

This kind of work is important for breaking through the web of opacity behind which many large corporations operate. Moreover, positive change-makers can be recognised and praised; conversely, unethical players can be singled out.

What might the implications of this be? What related resources have you seen?
