Businesses and entrepreneurs are joining the "restoration economy" to make a profit from restoring agricultural lands and forests. A report by World Resources Institute and The Nature Conservancy highlights 14 innovative businesses spanning across four sectors: consumer products, technology, project management, and commercial forestry. Governments have also made pledges to aim to restore degraded land and many are including these as part of their national contributions under the Paris climate agreement.
