Carbon Disclosure Project releases new report on carbon pricing

Resource / Carbon Disclosure Project releases new report on carbon pricing

By Sam Zak / 29 Aug 2018

The Carbon Disclosure Project has launched its latest report on its Carbon Pricing Corridors initiative, which aims to enable large market players in the power and chemical industries to define the carbon prices needed to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement.

The report builds on the inaugural report on the carbon pricing initiative published in May 2017 and also examines the chemical sector. It is distinct from similar initiatives and research efforts as it is a collaborative endeavour and directly engages with key stakeholders, including chief executives and senior figures in leading companies, the investment community and international experts from across the G20 economies. The value of the initiative is that it provides a long-term decarbonisation roadmap that gives governments information on policy frameworks and helps large companies and the investment community manage risk.
