Aqueduct: an atlas showing global water risk

Resource / Aqueduct: an atlas showing global water risk

By Will Ingram / 27 Oct 2015

A interactive map has been created by the World Resources Institute which presents global data on water stresses.

It includes data on water quantity, availability and quality, along with regulatory and reputational risk, and displays overall water risk at sub-national levels.

Future conditions are also given, and users can view projected change at specific coordinates to specific years. This will be useful for relevant parties to work towards future water security wherever they are in the world.

The tool aims to help governments, companies, investors and all other stakeholder understand the nature of water risks around the world.
