basic income pilot in India transforms lives

Resource / basic income pilot in India transforms lives

I think this is the first trial of an unconditional basic income in a developing country. it seems to have had very positive results, both economically and socially and could be quickly scaled up if policy makers go for it. also interesting parallel/ counterpoint to the universal basic income conversation in developed countries (which tends to assume that only rich countries can afford it)

What might the implications of this be? What related resources have you seen?
