The financial services company Standard & Poor’s has published a report outlining the risks associated with a changing planet, and the landscape of climate change negotiations.

Included is analysis of what climate risk means for financial services and how credit ratings may be impacted. 

Standard & Poor’s is known for publishing its stock market indices and global credit ratings.

There were around 300 cases in 2013 and 2014 where environment and climate related factors contributed to or were a significant factor in a change of credit rating.
