Groundbreaking new way of fighting antibiotic resistance discovered

Scientists have identified a weakness in disease-causing bacteria that could be used to develop drugs that will overcome antibiotic resistance. The discovery could also give a new lease of life to existing antibiotics that have fallen out of use because they are no longer effective.
