US enacts semiconductor embargo against China

To ensure U.S. tech stays as far as possible ahead of China, the Biden administration has banned U.S. companies from selling their most advanced chips and chipmaking technology to China, going so far as to bar American citizens, permanent residents, and green card holders from working for Chinese semiconductor companies.
