Small-scale farmers who produce the majority of the world’s food will most likely be excluded from AI-related benefits with the digital divide and poor internet penetration rates.

Continued marginalisation and lack of access to newer advanced technologies would leave smallholders behind in the transition unable to meet demand amidst increasing food insecurity with the lack of affordable and nutritious food.
