35% UK employees want employers to take climate action

A survey of over 2,000 UK employees, taken by culture and behavioural change consultancy Kin&Co, found that 35% of employees want their employer to take action against climate change.

The research found that 60% felt acting on climate breakdown is the responsibility of their CEO, and 30% said they want their CEO to declare a climate emergency, yet just 10% of companies have a set carbon emissions reduction target.
