Working with SmartestEnergy, the international construction solutions provider Saint-Gobain has implemented demand-side response measures in its UK operations. By running an awareness campaign with its site managers to encourage them to switch off machinery during peak times, the company has made large energy savings, with one site saving as much as an entire month’s costs. Saint-Gobain now plans to roll this out across more of its sites in future.
