Iceland is first major retailer to commit to eliminating plastic on own brand line

Iceland has become the first major retailer to commit to eliminating plastic packaging from all its own brand products within the next five years. It plans to replace its current packaging with paper and pulp trays, and paper bags, which would be able to be recycled using domestic waste collection.
