New York sets target for 800MW of offshore wind by 2019

At the 2018 State of the State address, the Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo set a goal to acquire 800 MW of offshore wind by the end of 2019.  This will result in enough renewable energy to power 400,000 New York households, and is part of a more ambitious goal by the governor to sequester 2,400 MW of offshore wind power by 2030.
