Sixty businesses, making up nearly 50% of New Zealand’s emissions, have joined forces to tackle climate change. Together they have formed a Climate Leaders Coalition and signed a CEO Climate Change Statement. The statement pledges to measure and publicly report on greenhouse gas emissions, work to reduce emissions consistent within 2°C of warming and to support the introduction of a climate commission and carbon budgets enshrined in law.
