Joseph Galliano, the CEO of the project, is planning to open Queer Britain: The National LGBTQ+ Museum, devoted to queer history and bringing together an unparalleled collection of historical, artistic, political and cultural artifacts.
Galliano and team hope to incorporate virtual reality experiences, immersive exhibitions and a vast digital platform to give visitors a 3D experience of LGBT history including race, gender, and orientation to preserve histories which have previously been ignored or hidden.
Currently, plans propose the museum could open as early as 2021.
