This year’s World Economic Forum is the first to be chaired by women

For the first time, this year’s World Economic Forum will be chaired entirely by women, in an attempt to increase awareness of gender issues that exist in business and wider society.

The seven women chosen to make up the panel come from all sectors in society, including the Managing Director of the IMF and the Director General of CERN.
