UK MPs call for ban of microplastics in cosmetics

The United Kingdom’s Environmental Audit commitee has called for a total legal ban on the use of microplastics in cosmetics, such as shower scrubs and toothpaste.

The group of MPs has called for an international ban – but if this is not possible after voting to leave the EU, then it asks that a national ban be implemented immediately.
