by Futures Centre, Feb 28
1 minute read

In what campaigners have claimed to be a turning point in the war on plastic pollution, an Ekoplaza store in Amsterdam will be the first to have a plastic free aisle. It will contain over 700 products including meat, rice, sauces, dairy, chocolate, cereals, yogurt, snacks, fresh fruit and vegetables. The Dutch supermarket chain said it would roll out similar aisles in all of its 74 branches by the end of the year.
